Ely Crown Liturgical Brocade Fabric
Sold by the Yard
Ely Crown Brocade is a liturgical fabric which features a reversible design. Designed after the style of Augustus Welby Pugin, the fabric was first produced circa 1890. This ecclesiastical fabric uses two motifs: a Tudor Style Rose and a Crown. Select one of these designs, then move up or down, left or right, and it is surrounded by the opposite motif. This design style for motifs, which is sometimes referred to as "diaper," also places a motif in a repeating pattern along the diagonal of the fabric. Offered at a moderate price point for a liturgical fabric, Ely Crown Brocade is a good fabric to use for a first time church vestment project or when working within a limited budget. Ely Crown is also a favorite option for the seasoned church vestment maker owing to its classic heritage.
